Bare Rebellion

Brand Identity · Lingerie 2026

Bold lace, liquid silk, and lingerie engineered to be looked at — entirely on your terms.

01

Why it exists

Bare Rebellion started as a study in a category most brands play safe with. I wanted a luxury lingerie house with an edge — seduction on the wearer's terms, not the viewer's.

I built it for the woman who answers to no one, who buys lingerie for herself first. The opportunity was a brand that feels expensive and unapologetic at once: lace and silk with attitude, not a catalog of pastel basics.

02

What I set out to prove

I built this to explore a premium fashion identity in an intimate, editorial category — and to prove I could hold a genuinely luxe, provocative tone without tipping into cheap. The test was taste: could I make something sensual read as high fashion rather than novelty?

03

What I built

This is a complete brand build: name, voice, identity, and a full editorial storefront with a custom product experience. I designed a real e-commerce flow around variable products — color and size — with a slide-in cart, a custom product page, and members-only mechanics that make the brand feel like a house, not a shop.

Design decisions

Everything is built on contrast. I paired a high-contrast Bodoni serif with a clean Jost sans, and set a near-black, cream, and crimson palette — restrained, expensive, a little dangerous.

Large editorial photography carries the mood: campaign-grade, confident, never crude. The store leans on negative space and a slow, deliberate pace so each piece feels considered, and the voice stays short and self-possessed — 'worn for an audience of one,' 'answers to no one.' The whole experience is designed to feel like a private appointment, not a checkout.

05

What this build demonstrates

This build demonstrates I can design in a sensitive, premium category and keep it firmly on the tasteful side of luxury — from identity through a working, custom e-commerce experience. The goal was a believable fashion house with a real point of view, and an editorial hand steady enough to make something provocative feel refined.
