Streetwear for gym goblins and late-night grinders — the ones who treat comfort like a main stat.
Sweaty Nerd lives at the crossroads of two worlds that rarely get styled well: the gym and gaming. I built it for the people who lift and raid in the same hoodie — who want gear that works at the rack and at the desk.
The opportunity was a crossover brand that feels native to both without being a costume for either.
I created this to explore a crossover apparel identity built on an attitude rather than a logo. The test was whether RPG and gym language could become the actual vocabulary of a wearable line — 'loot,' 'drip,' 'grind' — instead of a gimmick slapped on a blank.
I built the full brand: naming, voice, identity, and a store organized around a 'New Loot' drop plus a full collection, so the whole thing reads like a shop with momentum. Hoodies, joggers, and dad hats sit together as one considered line.
The tone is the product. I wrote the brand to talk like the crowd it's for — self-aware, a little goblin-brained — and matched it with clean, high-contrast product photography so the gear reads as legit streetwear first, inside joke second.
A parallax lookbook moment gives the brand room to show the clothes in motion instead of only flat shots, and the type system stays bold and athletic so it holds up on a hoodie tag and a homepage alike.
This build demonstrates I can invent a brand for an audience that doesn't have one yet and make it feel like it already existed. From a two-world concept to a store that talks fluently to both crowds — the goal was a believable ecosystem, not a single funny shirt.
