The WKND Label

Brand Identity · Swimwear 2026

A swim and apparel brand for the in-between days — sun-soaked, salt-soaked, made to be lived in.

01

Why it exists

The WKND Label came from one idea: making the weekend last all week. I built it for people who chase golden hour and slow Sundays and want a wardrobe that matches.

The opportunity was a swim-and-apparel brand that feels like the memory of a good weekend rather than a product catalog.

02

What I set out to prove

I created this to explore editorial photography paired with e-commerce — a lifestyle brand where the imagery is the pitch. The test was whether warmth and mood, not features and specs, could carry a store.

03

What I built

I built the whole brand: name, voice, identity, and a storefront designed around golden-hour photography and a soft, breezy tone. Swim, crop tees, and cropped sweatshirts are shot and merchandised to feel like documentation of an actual weekend.

Design decisions

Everything leans on light and ease. I built the identity around golden-hour imagery and a script-accented logo to keep it personal and unhurried, then designed the store to feel like an invitation to slow down — generous spacing, warm tones, imagery that reads like a lifestyle, not a lookbook grid.

The voice stays soft and inviting so the whole thing feels like a place, not a shop.

05

What this build demonstrates

This build demonstrates I can lead with photography and mood and still deliver a launch-ready store. The goal was an editorial brand world where the imagery does the selling — proof I can build the feeling as well as the funnel.
